Landed in Silicon city last week… nice experience being here. First hand experience of so called Western style city of India. Yes Bangalore. From the time I landed here a lot of observations came infront. Local bus( oh my god !! please save from it), Traffic (worst than imagination), Road (good for motorcycles and autos), pollution (ok ok). Ya one thing "Garden City", one of my college friend from hydrabad asked from Delhi, "How is Garden City" ? Where is Garden, I am trying to find it, please someone help me out. There is city off course. Whole city is full of Big New (and some old too) Buildings having transparent walls, no concept of windows (may be people are fearing of polluted air). And rest of the city is dug for coming to be building.
" Garden City ", ya I remember 8 years back, when had a tour of few days, at that time Bangalore was said one more name " Air condition City", reason, when ever the city temperature went up above 35 degree, it use to rain automatically, bringing the temperature down. That was the time when, I have faint memory, city was full of Green trees, every where your eyes goes, you find greens leaves, hard to find sunlight on the street (reason obvious).
Baraa, Idli, dosh, sambhar, uttapam, pongal, applam, chatni, korma etc… need no introduction.
Raj Kumar, great personality of Karnataka….. Life came to stall for almost full 2 days, Wednesday and thursday. Almost Ten people died, many buses and cars burned, shops closed, mess and restaurants closed, street deserted, IT loosed around 40 million dollar. Between these things one person was happy, IT labour, they got leave for continous 4 and half days, hardly they get so much of leave.
Many new thing to find out in Garden !!!!
